🎬Weaving A Whole New World in THREE Days

It’s already been a week
since I wrapped filming
my first Creatrix Film with my
ultra-talented cinematographer, Helena.

And, since then things have been very different for me.

I shot this video the morning after & I was still in a daze of living in complete creative flow for 3 days. Every thought from the moment I woke up until I went to bed (& even in my dreams) was directed towards the film.

Locations, sets, outfits, light, movement, mood, tides, narrative & props.

There was so much to keep in my mind as I realized my vision of what’s possible when you choose to create directly from inspiration, to embrace Sovereign Creativity. Keeping track of so many moving parts along with the incredible heat was a challenge of epic proportions, yet the energy of the project & who I was becoming as it unfolded blithely carried me along.

Of course, having Helena here was absolutely essential. Obviously, because she was filming everything but also because we’d talked so much beforehand she could see my vision in her head. When I couldn’t remember details or wondered if something should be done differently, she reminded me or offered options I hadn’t thought of.

It was my kind of collaboration - we were both working at the top of our game, with each of our skills complementing the other’s. I haven’t experienced this type of creative thrill since I had my shop (& even then, never at this level of intensity!).

I wove a New World.

When I decided to embark on this project, it was initially just to generate some eye-catching images to use for my online marketing & mentoring materials for my clients.

Then, I started thinking it could offer me an opportunity to play with some new ideas I’ve had about the direction I’m taking my company & to try out film (a media I love but know very little about when it comes to the craft).

As the filming start date began to draw closer, I realized that although all of those reasons were valid, what I desired most was to create a piece of stunning, visually arresting art.

The kind that not only “stops the scroll” but lingers with you.

Inspires you to create something of your own.

Opens up places in you which you didn’t even know had been shut away.

I wanted to Weave My World.

Although I mentor my clients to do this for themselves & their companies, I noticed that I hadn’t been doing it for myself. I’d been storing my visions & aspirations in my journals for “some day”. A time when I suddenly had a swathe of “alone-time”, weeks of silence, space for starting many projects & leaving them all out, undone, scattered around my atelier & the room to roam far into the forgotten areas of my “field”.

I knew that time would never come unless I devoted myself to creating it.

So I did.

The cascade of creativity was more than I expected.

Suddenly, I was writing non-stop, dyeing fabrics, designing & sewing ephemeral clothes, digging out glorious accessories & jewellery I haven’t worn in years, creating mood boards (physical & digital), scouting locations, making a mother-of-pearl version of a Sourcebook, transforming my home into a film set & even buying a gorgeous calcite crystal ball!

Along the way, I noticed how good it felt to be braiding so many of my talents into a single project.

And, I could see how this film is actually a portal into a new way of being for me. Or rather, it’s spiralling me back to my first & greatest love

—of being an artist of realities.

Going forward…

I’ve self-initiated myself into new worlds many times (quitting fashion school, opening my shop, moving to France, founding multiple businesses, homeschooling my children) and I know that these early days are a time for quiet & contemplation.

Even writing this post has taken considerable effort to put words to these swirling energies. Yet part of my new world is about inspiring others to live like this too & the way to do that is to share it with you.

What I do know…

I will continue to mentor my clients as they braid their creativity & spirituality into One-of-A-Kind companies, offer private Initiations for those who know it’s time for them to experience more of their true selves & keep sharing insights into the unseen realms here & on my podcast.

And,

something new is coming.

It will combine everything I already offer with an even deeper level of energetic work, drawing upon even more past life treasures & catalysing your creativity to heights you’ve only ever dared to whisper to yourself.

Get ready.
