It’s almost March. The flooding in my area has begun to subside, the sun came out today for the first time in weeks & the swirling energies are beginning to feel like new creative patterns are slowly emerging, just waiting for us to play with them.
So, what’s been going on at the Creatrix Experience?

WORK
Recently, I was a guest on Sandie Sedgbeer’s absolutely unique No B.S. Spiritual Book Club show. Before the show, I had to pick TEN books which have played an important role in my spiritual evolution. It was a lot of fun but also felt a bit like I had to choose which of my children I love the most…
My favourite part of the interview was her last question. Turns out I’m the only person who has ever given my surprising answer!

I’ve been taking my time with creating new podcast episodes. Lately, I’ve been thinking of them as pieces of inspirational art. I want them to be practical & deep, engaging & thought-provoking and worth listening to more than once.

CRAFT
My knitting projects are both in the “almost done” phase.
My teal Viking-inspired ribbed sweater turned out to be very heavy & so I’ve had to reinforce the shoulders, button band & back of the neck with some grosgrain ribbon to keep it from drooping to my knees! It is gorgeous though…
My peony pink mohair/silk/alpaca super wide scarf is almost blanket-sized but I think an end is in sight. Fingers crossed that there’ll be a cold snap so I’ll be able to wear it before Spring arrives.
I’ll soon be starting to host live Creatrix Teatimes styled to feel like we’re sipping decadent hot chocolate & nibbling delicious cookies in a tearoom together. They’ll be a mix between a casual BTS chat & some Creatrix Living insights.

LIFE
Last year, if I showed you a picture from my front hall balcony, you would have seen a forest (or if it was near the end of the year, a mysterious swamp).
This is what it looks like today. I’m loving having a lake-front property even though it may not last too long. The light in the house is so different because of the sparkling water. Note the sun—a rare occurrence lately. We’ve had rain almost every day since the beginning of the year & these few moments of pure light were heavenly!
My good friend/colleague, Patrick Geary✨ (astrologer extraordinaire/cosmic channel/alchemist) & I recorded a quick video about sleep in these wild times.

My husband has begun yet another enormous restoration project chez nous which involves taking out a partition wall (already done) to rebuild it with pocket doors, re-plastering two rooms with traditional lime plaster AND pulling up the floor to replace the floor joists then relaying the Versailles-style parquet flooring.
