Hello!
This is the first post in The Creatrix Coterie, a new addition to “The Creatrix Experience” experience.
Think of this as an open community where you can dip in & out whenever you wish. If you’re wondering what a “coterie” is, it’s a small group of friends with similar interests who get together regularly to explore & share what they love.
I’ve created several online communities over the years & enjoyed the close connection with the women who joined me in them. I learned a lot about how I like to nurture a group and one thing is sure, I prefer flexibility and simplicity!
So, there are no rules to join The Coterie (actually, if you’re reading this, you’re already a member…), no times you have to show up & certainly, nothing you MUST do. You’re free to enjoy from afar or jump in & share your discoveries.
Every response is welcome.
Exploration Oracle Set
To begin, I’ll introduce this small Exploration Oracle Set which I created and have been using for a couple of years. There are 122 questions. I designed it so that I could go through all of them, three times each year. Obviously, as I’ll be sending you only one a week, it could take a while to answer them all… 😉
Another thing I enjoy in my life & business, is doing things without spending a ton of time trying to get things “perfect” (although, I do slip sometimes…). I find that I often get more out of an activity when I know that I’m devoting just a few minutes to it. It feels like my brain stops fiddling around & gets to work much faster.
So, here are some suggestions to get you started working with the Oracle prompts.
Do what feels best to you!
use a small notebook or journal (a pretty one is nice, but not necessary)
before you begin, centre yourself & TRY to empty your head of any ideas of what you should / want to write (or draw) about
- I go sit outside on the ground while I do this ++ connection to naturewrite the number in the top right hand corner of your page along with the date
write the day's prompt about 1/2 - 3/4 inch from the top of the page.
- I use a different colour so it popsnow, fill the page with whatever comes through
- I find that I'm often almost 1/2 way done before I get something "good"read over what you wrote & summarize it in a few words or phrases at the top of the page (above the prompt) - this makes it easy to see themes when you flip through your journal later on
- I often circle, underline or box words/ideas which really stand outBONUS - if you’re into numerology, keep track of numbers which mean something to you (& the date) - there’s often a correlation between the two
BONUS #2 - notice if a prompt relates to something which has been spiralling around in your head within the last 24 hours! You might want to spend more time with this one…
And, that's it until the next time you want to do it again!
Ok, now that I wrote out the steps, it feels like this will take a long time. Actually, when you get going, the whole thing from start to finish takes about 15 minutes.
That’s about as long as it takes to drink your morning tea/coffee/cacao, so I’m sure you’ll be able to find the time somewhere in your day to “take dictation” from your higher self (aka your Creatrix).
Shall we get started?
Here’s today’s question :
# 65 - How can I show up more fully as ME?
Remember, you can write/draw about your business, craft &/or life. For many of us, it’s nearly impossible to separate the three! (And, frankly, if you’re doing what you love, why would you want to ?? 🥳)
If you’d like to share YOUR discoveries, please add them in the comments. If they’re too private but you’d like to explore them further, go ahead & send me an email. I’m happy to get to know you better. To go even deeper & see what else is ready to come up for you, book a LIGHT Session with me.
Know someone who would enjoy playing with this Oracle? Share this post with them.
I hope have fun, gain some interesting insights & enjoy whatever comes to light for you!
Until next time…
